The Developing Questioning Tool Kit is designed to help children build essential communication and critical thinking skills by focusing on asking and answering ‘WH’ questions, describing, and reasoning. Created with therapy resources used in real clinical sessions, this tool kit provides structured, engaging activities to support language development in a meaningful way.

Your child will build skills in:

  • Asking and Answering WH Questions – Practise using who, what, when, where, why, and how in structured and open-ended activities.

  • Describing Using Comparing and Contrasting – Learn to differentiate between objects, people, and events.

  • Developing Reasoning Skills – Strengthen inferencing, problem-solving, and logical thinking.

  • Using Grammar Correctly – Improve sentence structure and language accuracy.

  • Interpreting Verbal Information – Enhance comprehension and the ability to respond appropriately in conversations.

This tool kit includes:

  • Board Game – Interactive play to reinforce questioning and reasoning.

  • Describing Activity – Engaging tasks to practise detailed language use.

  • Dice Game – A fun and hands-on way to explore WH questions and reasoning.

  • Card Game – Versatile practice for questioning, grammar, and critical thinking.

Unlike generic toys, the Developing Questioning Tool Kit features high-quality therapy resources sourced from professional suppliers—the same materials used in clinical sessions. This ensures children get targeted and effective language practice that directly supports their learning.

Perfect for primary school-aged children, this tool kit complements therapy sessions, enhances at-home learning, and builds strong communication skills in a fun and engaging way.
