The Developing Oral Motor Awareness tool kit has been specifically designed for children with difficulties with oral motor movements and interpreting sensations in and around the mouth, including tongue and lips. This tool kit targets the following skills:
- Increase oral sensation
- Develop muscle strength
- Develop awareness of oral structures for eating and talking
- Develop an understanding of tongue and lip positions for eating and talking
